DescriptionThe weavers of Nebaj are famous for their intricate brocade which fills all available space in an explosion of color. This huipil is no exception and against the white cotton background are multi-colored diamonds, triangles, and zigzags, with a very nice sunburst neckline. The diamonds may represent the four corners of the earth, and the zigzags can represent cerritos, or small hills. The colorful brocading makes it a very lovely piece.
