DescriptionBetween 800 and 1200, Galo Polychrome yielded to Mora Polychrome ceramics. The ornately decorated objects were probably produced in the southern Nicoya region, but have been found in Atlantic Watershed/Central Highlands sites due to active trading practices. The influence of Late Classic Maya Copador ware is apparent in the use of mat patterns figure types and feathered headdresses.- Art of the Ancient Americas
