    DescriptionTeapot decorated in repousse and hand engraved detail with a design that is a rich overall tapestry of bamboo and cranes. The spout is in the organic form of a bamboo stalk and the lid is also extensively worked in the bamboo motif with a knop in the shape of a bamboo node. The shield for the monogram was never dedicated. The handled has been restored from the original ivory.
