    DescriptionBwoom represents a primeval antagonist of the Kuba king, possibly modeled on the indigenous Pygmy people, who challenged the rule of Moshambwooy. This mask is from the royal reserve of Kum Kwete Lapongo Alexander of the Bulangu Tshimbulu villages.
