DescriptionEarly Nasca decoration portrayed a single conventionalized yet naturalistic motif. In this double spout bottle with fisherman design, two fisherman are pulling in a net filled with fish. With the cultivation on cotton, first recorded as early as 2500 BCE, various kinds of casting nets were used from shore. The twin spouts with strap handle is a ceramic design typical of the Nazca valley.On View
